Training opportunities in renewable energy discussed

Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) president Dr Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) director-general Dr Raed Mohammed bin Shams along with other officials. The SEA chief praised BIPA’s prominent role in improving Bahrainis’ capabilities in the public and private sectors.

He briefed BIPA’s delegation on the authority’s vision, mission and goals, and emphasized the unlimited support received from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on national achievements in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Dr Mirza was told of the institute’s services and the mechanisms of cooperation with various government agencies, in line with their needs and the government’s action plans.

The meeting discussed the SEA’s aspirations for cooperation with BIPA to provide development training programs with international standards for Bahrainis in and outside the authority. Dr Shams stressed BIPA’s readiness to provide the necessary support and coordination to SEA.
