Health chief praises hospital’s systems

TDT | Manama

Supreme Council of Health (SCH) president and National Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus (COVID-19) head Lt-Gen Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa praised the King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) health and administrative information system.

The SCH chief was briefed on the Health Information System (HOPE) and Administration (ERP), which was developed by the hospital’s Information Systems Department, to meet patients’ needs in a timely, accurate, and safe manner. He reviewed the two systems and praised their ease, speed, and accuracy in performance to reach patients’ medical information.

The systems provide one medical file for every patient, which includes their medical history without referring to printed documents, which will help hospital executives make accurate and quick decisions while maintaining the proper functioning of work and services provided to auditors, patients, and suppliers.
