Interior Minister receives US Fifth Fleet commander

Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received yesterday new US Naval Forces Central Command, US Fifth Fleet and Combined Maritime Forces commander Vice-Admiral Samuel Paparo. Public Security Chief LtGen Tariq Al Hassan and Coast Guard Commander Major-General Alaa Siyadi also attended the meeting.
The Interior Minister welcomed the commander and wished him the best in his new assignment in serving the interests of the two countries. The two parties also reviewed bilateral relations, security cooperation, and issues of common interest.
