Four arrested for illegal shrimping

Four fishermen have been arrested after being caught with banned trawling nets, the Ministry of Interior announced. The Coast Guard commander reported the arrests, the ministry said, which also led to the confiscation of their boat. Maritime patrols further seized 165 kilograms of shrimp which they had caught with the banned nets, the commander added. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
