Four COVID-19 deaths, 750 recoveries

The coronavirus (COVID-19) took four lives in Bahrain yesterday, the Ministry of Health announced, bringing the virus-related death toll in the Kingdom to 231. The deceased included three male citizens aged 67, 71, and 75, and a 52-year-old male expatriate.

The ministry also reported 612 new active cases detected yesterday following 10,997 tests. The fresh infections included 111 expatriate workers, 497 contacts, and four travelers. There were also 750 new recoveries, as the total active cases reduced to 6,666—130 of which are receiving treatment with 54 in critical condition. Tests conducted rose to 1,366,396.
