HM the King’s personal representative holds call with Israeli minister

His Majesty the King’s personal representative and Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) president His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa held a telephone call yesterday with Israeli Minister of Environmental Protection Gila Gamliel. They exchanged congratulations on the signing of the peace declaration between the two countries and reviewed aspects of joint cooperation in the field of environmental protection and climate change.
They focused on other environmental issues that affect the region and the need to find solutions to address them by exchanging information and expertise. HH Shaikh Abdulla highlighted Bahrain’s achievements and a good reputation in the field of environmental protection and underlined the SCE-led efforts and commitment to regional and international agreements, legislation, and laws on climate change, wildlife, and natural habitats.
