Foreign Ministry undersecretary receives Korean ambassador

Ministry of Foreign Affairs undersecretary Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa received yesterday Korean Ambassador Hae Kwan Chung. During the meeting, the undersecretary lauded the bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation and their development in all areas.
She also reviewed ways to promote these relations to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries, and wishing the ambassador further success. For his part, Ambassador Chung congratulated Bahrain on the signing of the Declaration of Peace with Israel, hailing the efforts exerted by the Kingdom to preserve peace and security in the region. He also stressed Korea’s keenness to promote cooperation with Bahrain and wished the Kingdom further development and prosperity. The two sides also discussed a number of topics of common concern.
