The Minister of Health discusses with the Italian ambassador to enhance cooperation in the health field

Mrs. Faeqa bint Saeed Al-Saleh, Minister of Health, received Mrs. Paula Amadi, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to discuss strengthening areas of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.
At the outset of the meeting, which was held in the presence of Dr. Maryam Al-Hajri, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health, the Minister praised the depth of the bilateral cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Italian Republic in many fields, most notably the health sector.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation and joint coordination in the field of organizing visits to doctors visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain, training, and exchange of medical expertise in various specialties, within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries in the health field.
Her Excellency stressed the importance of opening new horizons for fruitful cooperation in order to raise the level of friendly relations between the two countries in various sectors.
On her part; The Ambassador of the Italian Republic praised the level of the health system and the level of health services provided in the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressing her country's readiness to continue strengthening joint health cooperation in the coming stages, in a way that contributes to the improvement and quality of health services between the two sides.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Health expressed her wishes to the Italian Ambassador with all success in her diplomatic missions in the Kingdom, in order to develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and peoples in various fields and to meet the aspirations and desired goals.
