Donation boxes initiative a big success

More than BD3,000 was raised by Seef Properties to help finance the charity activities and initiatives of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF). Seef Properties placed four donation boxes, two in Seef Mall-Seef District, one in Seef Mall-Muharraq, and one in Seef Mall-Isa Town with the aim of raising funds as part of its solid commitment to support the foundation.

The amount will be exclusively used to support projects serving orphaned children under the care of the foundation, mainly in education, health, and social care. RHF Charitable Resources Development director Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa expressed gratitude and appreciation to Seef Properties for the success of the donation boxes initiative.

Shaikh Ali also praised the creative gesture shown by the children under the care of the Foundation to decorate the boxes with their artistic drawings. This initiative by Seef Properties, one of the leading integrated real estate development companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain, is consistent with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s benevolent directives to provide comprehensive care and a decent living standard to orphans.

It reflects the mall visitors’ recognition of the significant role played by RHF in aiding the less-privileged segments in the Bahraini society, in line with the directives of the Foundation’s honorary chairman HM the King.

Seef Properties proactively contributes to the national efforts exerted to enhance the livelihood of the Bahraini society in line with the directives of HM the King, Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Seef Properties chief executive officer Ahmed Yusuf valued the social awareness demonstrated by shoppers and visitors of the malls. “The donation boxes initiative at Seef Malls has constituted a true activation of community partnership and granted everyone the opportunity to contribute to charity works.

Seef Properties is keen to always be one of the leaders in charity work and to support many projects and initiatives launched by RHF and other charities,” Yusuf said. “Seef Properties is aware of the importance of sustaining businesses’ social work by engaging with all different segments of society.

“Therefore, we are continuing our endeavors to spread awareness on the importance of community partnership, aiding the needy and granting all members of society the opportunity to contribute to humanitarian and charity works, in cooperation with all the related parties, chiefly the Royal Humanitarian Fund.”
