Bahrain announces three-day mourning on Kuwait Emir’s demise

The Royal Court, upon an order from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has mourned the late His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait.

Commemorating the death of Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, The King of the country His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said

“He was a wise leader who devoted his life to serving his people and nation and serving humanity. We express our sincere condolences to our brothers, the honorable Al Sabah family, and the dear people of Kuwait. The Kingdom of Bahrain, which was so pained by this grievous affliction, expresses its sincere condolences to the honorable Al Sabah family and the government and the people of Kuwait, praying to God Almighty to grant the deceased the fullness of His mercy and to dwell him in His spacious heaven, and to inspire the Al Sabah family and the brotherly Kuwaiti people with patience and solace.” His Majesty said

 Upon the order of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the following decision was issued:

 “Mourning the deceased, the late His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait, an official mourning is announced and flags will be flown at half-mast in the Kingdom of Bahrain for three days.”
