Ways to develop labour market discussed

Labour and Social Development Minister and Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Board of Directors chairman Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan met Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) chairman Sameer Abdulla Nass.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance joint co-operation, and develop initiatives aimed at providing the labour market with qualified national competencies. Also discussed were the efforts made to develop Bahraini human resources, the government’s support and facilities to the private sector institutions, in addition to ways to develop the labour market.
The minister praised the national role played by business owners, stressing that the cohesion and steady progress of the labour market require more co-operation and the launch of more creative initiatives that consolidate its stability and growth. He affirmed that the government’s keenness to provide all forms of support to the private sector, being an essential partner in the development march currently witnessed by the kingdom during this prosperous era.
