Media plays vital role in sporting events success : HH Shaikh Nasser

Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has lauded the outstanding media coverage of the HM the King’s Football Cup and the Nasser Bin Hamad Football Premier League for the 2019-2020 season by local media outlets.  

HH Shaikh Nasser stressed that the media is an essential pillar for the success of sporting events, as reflected in the development of this year’s Premier League, paying tribute to local newspapers for the key role they have played in ensuring the success of the league.

HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed the distinguished coverage of the two football competitions in Bahrain, paying tribute to the Information Affairs Ministry, represented by the Bahrain Sports channels, and local newspapers for their dedication in assuming their duties to the fullest.

He wished them further success, commending the efforts they are making to ensure a distinguished coverage of the King’s Cup final between Muharraq SC and Hidd SCC, to be held on Monday, October 12.

President of the Bahrain Football Association, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, honoured local and English newspapers during the closing ceremony of the Nasser Bin Hamad Football Premier League.
