Wadi Al Sail housing project deal signed
Bahrain’s Housing Ministry announced signing a deal for the construction of a 234 unit housing project in Wadi Al Sail funded by the GCC Development Programme.
Housing Ministry’s Undersecretary, Shaikh Khalid bin Hmoud Al Khalifa, representative of the Saleh Abdullah Al Muhanna Contracting Company and Partners, Salman Al-Jasser and senior Housing Ministry’s officials were present at the deal signing.
In a statement, following the signing, Shaikh Khalid said the project is expecting completion in 20 months.
The project aims at providing decent housing for citizens is supported by the government, led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
The deal, Shaikh Khalid said, also take the Kingdom a step to closer to achieving the target set by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of building 40,000 housing units for Bahraini citizens.
