HRH the Premier Award website launched

The website of the Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Award for Bahraini Doctor (www.khalifabinsalman. bh) was launched by the board of the HRH the Prime Minister’s Court, chaired by its Undersecretary Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. The website includes detailed information about the award as well as the initiative launched by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. It is endorsed by the Cabinet to celebrate Bahraini Doctor’s Day on the first Wednesday of November each year.

The website is a major reference of the award in appreciation of Bahraini doctors for their outstanding contributions to the medical, clinical and treatment research. It features the award’s goals, categories, eligibility criteria, media centre, and information about its board and jury, in addition to information about winners and participants, as well as reports, images and video clips documenting all events related to the first edition.

The jury or the Committee to Choose the Winners of the Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Award for Bahraini Doctor holds regular virtual meetings to discuss the participating works. It consists of a shield and a certificate bearing the emblem of the award, in addition to a $ 200,000-worth financial reward granted to winners from the public and private sectors. The award shall be granted in two categories, namely ‘Innovation and Creative Award in Therapeutic, Clinical and Medical Research Award’ and ‘Extended Loyalty and Giving Award.’
