Crown Prince Center for Training and Medical Research gets SSH accreditation

The Crown Prince Center for Training and Medical Research has obtained the international accreditation certificate from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), the largest accreditation body for healthcare simulation worldwide, until December 31, 2022.
This accreditation allows the center to obtain international recognition in the simulation of medical education and research and enables it to cooperate and exchange experiences, ideas, training lessons and medical research with other international institutes.
This came in light of the vision of the Commander of the Royal Medical Services Major General Professor Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa to take health training to a high level of technology to assist the various health sectors in Bahrain that rely on practical training through medical simulation devices, scientific laboratories, medical devices and electronic dummies.
The center aims to offer training based on the latest international healthcare methods to enable medical personnel to provide the best health services to the citizens of Bahrain and the region.
The center, inaugurated in February 2019, endeavors to become a world-class and advanced educational and training center using advanced simulation systems.
The US-based Society for Simulation in Healthcare is a non-profit membership society committed to furthering and supporting the science of healthcare simulation.
SSH supports educators, healthcare providers, researchers, administrators, curriculum developers, technologists, and policy makers keep up to date with developments in the rapidly changing world of simulation-based education in healthcare.
