More efficient services vow

The Ministry of Finance and National Economy will continue its efforts to deliver high-quality government services and promote effective communication with the citizens.
This was assured by Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa while holding a meeting with those in charge of the ‘Tawasul’ system. He expressed pride in the Finance Ministry winning the 2020 Service Excellence Award within the National Suggestion and Complaint system, ‘Tawasul’, and attributed the achievement to the Ministry affiliates’ solidarity and work as one team.
The minister stressed the importance of continuing the delivery of government services at the highest levels of efficiency, and promoting excellence in effective communication with the citizens. He said the Ministry is keen to consolidate them for the benefit of the citizens, and to meet the goals of comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The minister highlighted the interest of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, in ensuring the continuity of efforts to develop the performance of government entities and improve the quality of the services they deliver. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa noted that the efforts of the Ministry focus on achieving more professionalism in communicating with the citizens in order to meet their expectations.
He commended the efforts exerted by the ‘Tawasul’ work team for the sake of attaining such a landmark achievement that, he said, is a source of pride for all the Finance Ministry’s affiliates, stressing their keenness to continue working within Team Bahrain. He expressed hope that the prestigious award will be a catalyst for achieving more accomplishments and initiatives that meet common aspirations and goals.
