One more Covid-19 death in Bahrain

A Bahraini man, aged 88 years, is the latest casualty in the kingdom’s Covid-19 battle, which took 328 lives until yesterday.
The Health Ministry, announcing the latest death on its Twitter handle, said it also recorded 245 new recoveries yesterday.
The new recoveries also raised the total number of people cured of their Covid-19 infection in Bahrain to 80,174.
Besides, the ministry carried out 11,587 coronavirus tests yesterday to detect 162 new cases.
The newly detected cases include 51 expatriate workers, 101 contacts of active patients, and ten travel-related cases.
The new cases also raised the total number of Covid-19 cases in Bahrain to 20,092.
There are currently 60 patients in Bahrain receiving treatment, of which 19 are in a critical condition. The total number of active cases stands at 2,284, of which 2,265 are in stable health.
