BRAVE 44 has turned out to be a great night for Bahrain’s amateurs who walked away with two wins and no losses, showcasing the tremendous work being done by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the entire KHK MMA team.
Two of the brightest prospects from the team came out victorious in hard-earned bouts against two other top young fighters from the Middle East.
Young Bahrainis Mohamed Sameer and Mohammed Salah Almuamari both grabbed decision victories in their BRAVE CF debut. The first fight of the night was Mohammed Salah Almuamari against Mohammad Al Mherat. The first round was very competitive as Almherat did well using his wrestling, but Almuamari was able to attack with a kimura and attempted an armbar. After a competitive second round, it was all Almuamari in the third as he landed heavy shots and dominated the action on the ground.
The second and final amateur bout of the night was Mohamed Sameer against Lebanon’s Toni Bourached. The first round was even with both fighters cancelling each other out. In the second round Sameer attempted a kimura but was not able to get it all the way. The third round was just as competitive. In the end Sameer won by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) making sure KHK MMA positioned itself once again as the best team in the world.
