BDF chief inspects task force

The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, yesterday paid an inspection visit to the BDF’s Task Force participating in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition.

Shaikh Khalifa met the members of the RBAF’s Task Force at the King Fahad Air Base in Taif, where he received a briefing on the tasks assigned to them within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to sup port legitimacy within the Operation Restoring Hope in brotherly Yemen.
He conveyed greetings and appreciation from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, to the members of the Task Force.

The BDF chief lauded the personnel of Bahrain’s Task Force for their dedication in carrying out their patriotic duties with courage and bravery and wished them every success.

Earlier upon arrival at the King Fahad Air Base in Taif, the commander-in-chief was welcomed by the Commander of the Taif Military Region, Assistant Commander of King Fahad Air Base in the Western Sector, Bahrain’s Consul-General in Jeddah, the Commander of the Bahraini combat group of the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) and several senior officers.
