Dadabhai Group chairman Mohammed Dadabhai paid tribute today to His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the late Prime Minister, for his invaluable contributions to the Kingdom and towards the development of the people. Mr Dadabhai described HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman as “a great leader” and “pioneer”, and said that Bahrain will continue to build on the strong foundations that have been established over the years under his guidance. “The death of the HRH the Prime Minister is a huge loss for Bahrain and for the Gulf in general,” Dadabhai told TDT.
“He was a great leader who made Bahrain known in the world as an open country in terms of freedom of religion, and especially in freedom for women, and for his contributions to education and many other things. “He was a pioneer in the whole Gulf, and at least two generations have grown up under his guidance. They have benefitted from the development in the education system, and Bahrainis are now considered to be among the most educated in the world. All this can be attributed to HRH the Prime Minister.
“We will miss him and we will always remember his fatherly figure.” Dadabhai added that HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman cared dearly for Bahrain’s expatriate community, which has helped in the fostering of the Kingdom’s strong relations with other brotherly nations.

“HRH the Prime Minister had a great regard for all foreign communities and their work in Bahrain, particularly the Indian community,” he added. “He always wanted a strong relationship with India and I always followed the guidance of HRH the Prime Minister in promoting relations between Bahrain and India. We will always miss him, but we will continue to follow his guidelines. Whatever foundation he has built, we will grow on that. Our coming generations will always remember him as a person who has given Bahrain so much.”
