Delivery man killed in Khamis road accident

A 33-year-old man was killed in a horrific accident on Shaikh Salman Highway near Khamis on Wednesday.
The deceased, Interior Ministry confirmed in a tweet, is an Asian national.
Reports indicate that the victim, working as a delivery boy, was killed on the spot after his motorcycle crashed into a car.
The impact of the crash threw the man off the bike with him falling head-on into the tarmac. Police arrived at the scene and rushed him to a hospital.
Cause of the accident has not been established.
Police said an investigation was ongoing.
A picture published by AlAyam shows the victim lying on the road motionless near the car involved in the accident with several onlookers.
