Bahrain will witness unstable weather later on Friday (November 13) as the clouds begin to intensify in the eastern regions of the Arabian Peninsula and the Arabian Gulf, an official at the Meteorological Department revealed.

There are chances for scattered rain and thunderstorms too, especially on the marine areas accompanied by very rapid gusts that lead to a rise in the sea waves due to the movement of a deep depression in the upper atmosphere. The unstable weather is expected to continue until Saturday morning (November 14).

This period of the year is considered a transitional phase from summer to winter, and therefore the weather fluctuations and rains increase due to the passage of rapid depressions that affect the Arabian Peninsula and the Arabian Gulf, which leads to instability in those areas.

The official added that the average maximum temperature for the month of November is 28 degrees Celsius and the lowest temperatures are 21 degrees Celsius. The average rainfall for this month is 3.8 mm, noting that the highest amount of precipitation recorded was 146.8 mm in 1940 AD.

He said that the winds will shift to northwest on Friday evening and will be from active to strong speed on Saturday, and as a result, there will be a drop in temperatures from their daily rates for this month, and the weather will be tilted to cold, especially during the night and early morning hours.

The Meteorological Department advised people, especially sea goers, to take caution during weather fluctuations and to avoid going out to the sea during this period, and to follow up on the warnings issued by the department through official channels.
