Parliament beats Israel attacks

The Council of Representatives denounced the Zionist aggression on Palestinian people in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Al Aqsa mosque yesterday.

The deliberate attacks of the Zionist occupation army targeting civilians with deadly bombs, missiles, warplanes and gunboats has led to the deaths of more than a dozen Palestinians so far. They include a woman and a child. Many people have been injured in the attacks and dozens of people were arrested by the Israeli government.

The Council also strongly deplored the global silence at the horror of war crimes against humanity committed by the Zionist occupation in Palestinian territories.

Despite calls from international human rights organisation to stop Israeli aggression, the outbreak of the third inifida several days ago worsened its mass war killings against the unarmed.

The Council urged the Secretary-General of the United Nations, UN Security Council, Human Rights Council and the US to stop discrimination against the Palestinians and carry out their humanitarian duty to stop the Israeli killings of women and children.

They called for an urgent Arab Summit to discuss how to face the attacks committed by the Zionist against Palestinians and to form an agreement to end the crimes of the Zionist occupation.
