Energy investment stressed
Crown Prince Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday met the Senior Vice President of Italian energy company ENI, Lapo Pistelli, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, Prince Salman stressed that a key priority under the Kingdom’s programme of sustainable economic development is continued national investment in key infrastructure projects across manufacturing and energy sectors over the coming years.
The Crown Prince then highlighted this investment will work to both increase employment opportunities in the Kingdom and improve private sector participation in Bahrain’s economy.
He highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to further expanding the Kingdom's trade ties with Italy, and strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including manufacturing and industrial development.
In response, Pistelli thanked Prince Salman for the meeting and for the leadership’s continued support to enhancing trade ties between the two countries.
