Ways to enhance Bahrain-US economic partnership discussed

Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) chairman Sameer Abdulla Nass recently received Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy to Bahrain Margaret Nardi.
Nass hailed the strong tie between Bahrain and the US and discussed with her ways to step up trade, partnerships, and investment between the two countries.
BCCI chief highlighted the economic situation in Bahrain in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, the most affected sectors, and measures and stimulus packages launched by the government to mitigate its impacts.
He also shed light on rising investment and business opportunities in the medical and healthcare sector, pharmaceuticals, Information Technology, and food security.
Nardi hailed the US-Bahrain tie and expressed pride in the pivotal role played by BCCI to empower the private sector and influence economic decisions.
She stressed the importance of promoting business and investment opportunities and encouraging liaison between Bahraini business owners and investors and their US counterparts.
BCCI’s first vice-chairman, Khalid Najibi; vice-treasurer, Waleed Kanoo, board member, Ahmed Al Saloom, Chief Executive Officer, Shaker Al Shater, and Deputy CEO, Dr. Abdulla Al Sada, were also present.
