Shaikha Aisha bint Rashid Mosque opens in Bahrain

President of the Sunni Endowment Council, Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri, inaugurated today Shaikha Aisha bint Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa Mosque, in the Southern Governorate. The inauguration took place in the presence of the donor and her sons as well as citizens from the region, as part of the series of projects implemented by the Sunni Endowment Directorate in building mosques.
Dr. Al Hajeri praised this noble work, stressing that building mosques is one of the best ties to Allah Almighty for it enables Muslims to perform their worship easily. He thanked the donor who built the mosque, pointing out the merit of this work and its great reward by Allah Almighty.
Dr. Al Hajeri also thanked the Southern Municipality as well as the Architecture and Mosque and Research Departments at the Sunni Endowment Directorate which contributed to building the mosque.
He also paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his unlimited support to building mosques, which is a well-recognised characteristic feature of the royal family.
