Al Noor International School celebrates high attainment in Cambridge Examinations

Al Noor International School students are celebrating the exemplary Advanced Level results they achieved at the Cambridge A Level Examinations 2019-2020 held last June. A combined outcome of 62 percent of all students achieved A*, A and B in the Cambridge A Level examinations.

The school continues to set a benchmark and remains a leader in the field of education in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In almost all the subjects, the school averages for the students securing Grades A*, Grades B and above, and Grades C and above are well above the respective world averages. Around 88% of A Level students secured grades between A* to C indicating excellent performance.

Eleven students secured 3A*; 62% secured A*, A and B; 100% passed; and 54 secured A*, 97 A and 70 B grades. In A Level, 11 students secured A* in all the three subjects. Straight 3A* are achieved by Muneera Basem Hasan Abdulla Almahmeed, Hannah Ruth Gunasinghe, Hussain Talib Ali Jassim Buhusayyen, Javeria Sohail, Maher Ali Farooq Ali Hasan Alqattan, Maryam Abdulrahman Mohamed Shafea Alshaikh, Mostafa Hany Mohamed Mostafa Eltahawy, Nancy Sayed Abdelmoneim Tantawy Moussa, Nazmeen Fatima, Saurav Hazra and Wijeratne Mohandiramge Ushan Imasha Fernando.

Twenty-two students secured A* and A’s in all the three subjects. These students are Maxine Zabat Salian, Onosha Fatima, Abdelrahman Mohamed Fathy Sharaf, Rawan Muneer Ali Husain Abdulrasool Rahma, Sara Mohsen Abdulhameed Khalaf Mohsen, Zainab Sayed Husain Ateya Abbas Mohamed, Youssef Mohammed Othman Ezzat, Fatema Salah Ahmed Ebrahim Hasan, Muhammad Rafae Gill, Noor Rizwan Ahmed Mushtaq Ahmed Malik, Riad Shadi Riad Mohammed Barakat, Farooq Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed Ameen, Saad Ramzan Mohammad Ramzan Mohd. Shafi Malik, Abdul Rafay Irfan, Ali Emad Mohamed Ghuloom Abdulla, Ali Khalid Ali Mohammed, , Alwaleed Khaled Omar Al Alami, Hashem Mohamed Abdulhadi Abdulla Khalifa, Joud Rashed Abdulla Mohamed Ebrahim, Mariam Mansoor, Muhammad Abubakar and Puteri Arisya Diana Binti Aznir.

The students also celebrating their strong Advanced Subsidiary Level results during the examinations in June. A combined outcome of 48% of all students achieved A and B results. In almost all the subjects, the school averages for the students secured Grades B and above, and Grades C and above are well above the respective world averages. Around 70% of AS Level students secured grades between A to C indicating admirable performance. Twenty-two students secured 3A; 48% secured A and B; 100% passed; and 115 secured A and 80 B grades.

Straight 3A are achieved by Achine Sanjana Padukka Vidanalage, Alex Joby, Ashraf Essam Adel Yousef, Bryce Kris Fernandes, Dissanayake Mudiyanselage Movindu Kawshan Dissanayake, Feloubatteir Leasha Shafik Wasief Rezkalla, Marya Khalil Ebrahim Ahmed Radhi, Mohamed Essam Adel Yousef, Mustafa Kaidzohar Shafik, Naheen Kabir, Namasha Minradha Wijesinghe Wijesingha Rajapaksha Arachchige, Noora Wael Isa Mohamed Qasim, Rawan Samy Gamal Khedr, Roomina Tariq Butt, Salvia Laras Pritinadevi, Sara Ahmed Mahmood Ebrahim Yunes, Shenal Dimindra Kurukulasuriya, Taif Ghazi Abduljalil Matooq Ahmed, Tumali Shakya Embuldeniya, , Uneeb Ullah Khan,Varahini Kamalarajan, and Yusuf Abdulkarim Mohamed Shafeea Shakeeb.

This exemplary achievement is a testament to the resilience and determination of the talented students and teachers along with the support of the parent body.
