HM King receives call from Israeli President Rivlin

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a phone call from Israel President Reuven Rivlin. The Israeli leader congratulated HM the King on the National Day and the anniversary of HM’s accession to the throne.
He praised the development of bilateral relations, expressing his hope that the declaration of peace between the two countries would contribute to enhancing security and stability in the region.
His Majesty the King affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to establish good relations with everyone in the interest of the peace process in the region.
Also yesterday, HM the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent cables to the President of the Sovereign Transitional Council in the Republic of Sudan General Abdel-Fattah Al Burhan, congratulating him on removing his country’s name officially from the list of terror-sponsoring states.
