HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad pays homage to martyrs of duty

The representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has stressed that the Commemoration Day, launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to be celebrated in conjunction with the kingdom’s National Days, is a national occasion to pay homage to the martyrs of duty who sacrificed their life for the sake of the nation. 

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa commended the decision of HM the King to observe the Commemoration Day on December 17, the anniversary of his accession to the throne, as an act of gratitude to the martyrs of duty who sacrificed their lives to protect their homeland as well as the security and stability of their brethren in the Arabian Gulf.

HH paid tribute to the fallen servicemen who sacrificed their lives in defending the nation and its stability and security. He said their heroism will remain carved in the national memory and the Kingdom of Bahrain will always remain loyal to their blood. He added that the martyrs of duty drew with their blood a real epic in the history of the nation by defending the right and set a wonderful example in sacrifice and self-denial so that the flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain remains high.
