East Hidd housing units distribution process moving smoothly

Housing Minister Basim Yacob Al Hamer has announced the distribution of housing units in “Qulaya” district at East Hidd to the beneficiaries.

This came in implementation of an order by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to distribute 5,000 housing units.

The Minister said that East Hidd Town is one of the main projects of the ministry following the royal order of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to build 40,000 housing units.

He stressed that the progress made in implementing this project so far reflects the importance that HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister has attached to the projects of new Bahrain cities.

Minister Al Hamer said that the distribution process will be in batches to ensure the correct order of the beneficiaries, indicating that the units that are distributed in Qulaya have completed the construction and infrastructure works completion rates.

He added that in addition to these housing units, the ministry has finished preparing gardens for children, open spaces, afforestation projects, as well as sidewalks and bicycle paths that extend along the coastal strip surrounding the city
