HM King hails HRH Prince Salman’s noble contributions to Bahrain

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander and President of the Supreme Defence Council, has praised the great efforts and dedicated endeavours of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, in all fields.

HM the King reiterated his congratulations and best wishes to the HRH Prince Salman in serving Bahrain and its people as Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This came as HM the King yesterday chaired the meeting of the Council at Sakhir Palace in the presence of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Majesty King Hamad hailed the valuable and continuous efforts of the National Taskforce to Combat the Coronavirus in safeguarding the health of the Kingdom’s citizens and residents.

HM the King highlighted the efforts exerted by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in spearheading the taskforce with resolve, earnestness, optimisation driven by a strong sense of responsibility.

“We have witnessed the impressive successes and results achieved by the taskforce in decreasing the number of daily and pending cases and increasing the number of recovery cases. Such accomplishments strengthen the spirit of responsibility and perseverance of the people of Bahrain and their genuine awareness,” HM the King said.

HM King Hamad lauded the diligent endeavours and dedication of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Interior Ministry and National Guard as well as their valuable contributions and support to confront the global pandemic and protect the health, safety and security of all.

Their dedication is in addition to their constant eagerness to perform their lofty duties with unflinching valour and determination to protect the nation and defend its gains and civilised achievements, he added.

“We recognise the role of every woman and man who continues to shoulder their noble humanitarian responsibilities to serve the nation, and they are all a source of pride for us and for all Bahrainis,” HM the King said. “We, with the grace of God, are witnessing the launch of the national campaign for vaccination against the coronavirus with the best services in various vaccination centres.”

HM the King noted the high turnout of Bahrainis and residents taking the vaccine and highlighted the health workers’ great efforts, high efficiency and impeccable organisation.

“By the grace of God, the successes we are accomplishing together today will remain an honourable achievement that our national history will attest and a source of pride for our future generations. Our honourable citizens have risen to this challenge and we are looking forward, with the help of God, to a brighter future for our dear nation and its honourable people. We pray to the Almighty to perpetuate the blessings of security, progress and prosperity in our beloved Bahrain,” HM the King said.

HM King Hamad expressed his appreciation of the statements of the Cabinet and the bicameral Parliament on preserving the rights of Bahraini fishermen and stressed that the position of the executive and legislative branches affirm Bahrain’s steady endeavours for the wellbeing and development of the citizens of the countries.
