KHCB surprises Al Waffer winner with BMW

Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), one of the leading Islamic retail banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently announced Yusuf Hasan Ali Khairi as the winner of a luxurious BMW 520, the Grand Prize for Al Waffer raffle draw for the month of September 2015, along with 39 other winners who won cash prizes each.

The raffle draw was held at KHCB headquarters in the Bahrain Financial Harbour in the presence of members from the bank’s management and staff, under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

With 40 winners in total, Yusuf Hasan Ali Khairi drove away the Grand Prize for the month of September 2015, a brand new BMW 520. Khaleeji Commercial Bank also announced the names of 39 other lucky winners including Rashed Ali Mohamed AbdulRahim, Amina Mohamed Sharif, Hameed Yusuf Rahma and Jameel AlHalwachi A/C Mohamed who won themselves $1000 each while 35 other winners received $500 each.

 Commenting on this occasion, Khalil Al Meer, Chief Executive Officer of KHCB said: The Al Waffer Account was introduced to encourage the habit of saving among customers and at the same time reward them with spectacular prizes in a truly Shari’a Compliant manner. It is a pleasure to see the joy our initiatives bring in the lives of our customers and we will always remain committed to providing our customers with exceptional service and rewards.

I am also delighted to announce that bigger and better prizes will keep coming throughout the year, we have an Annual Mega Raffle Draw which will be a Mega winning opportunity for customers, the Grand Prize being a luxury villa at Oryx Hills, a spectacular BMW car and $25,000 cash due to be drawn in January 2016, the CEO added.

Overjoyed on winning a brand new BMW 520, Yusuf said: I have never won anything this big before in my life and it came as a huge surprise to me and my family. I sincerely appreciate this act and I am very thankful to Khaleeji Commercial Bank for giving me this wonderful opportunity as this is indeed the best thing to have happened to me so far. 

Gestures such as this only reiterate my trust in the bank and of course being the proud owner of a brand new BMW 520 is like a dream come true, added the elated winner.
