Indian man's body to be repatriated

The body of  Ram Gopal Bakolia, a 47-year-old mason, who died on Tuesday at Salmania Medical Complex (SMC) hospital will we repatriated to his hometown in Rajasthan, India once the paperworks are completed. Mr Bakolia was taken to the  SMC  around two weeks ago when he met with an accident. At the time, his whereabouts were not known. Later social workers were able to get his CPR from which his name, company and other details were discovered. He worked for Nass Contracting Company but as per LMRA website his employment visa is not valid now. The company's representative  told DT News last night  that they would do all help to repatriate the body. 'We will be giving all kind of support to Bokalia's family. I called his family in Rajasthan and  got all the paper needed. Bakolia was working for Nass only since July this year. But even then the company is ready to give all assistance to his family. We have got his bank details and will transfer all financial assistance  due to his family. We will give all the humanitarian support," the company representative said. The Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF), which functions under the aegis of the Indian Embassy is also involved, said ICRF volunteer Sudheer Thirunilath.  Bakolia apparently does not have any relatives in Bahrain. He is survived by his wife and three children. Consecutive holidays for government offices  are causing delay to speed up the paper work, DT News has learnt.
