Khalid bin Hamad Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Competition to begin in March

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, first vice president of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), directed the Supreme Organizing Committee to prepare for the third edition of the Khalid bin Hamad Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Competition.

The competition, which will kick off in March under the slogan #lets_innovate_ for_the_future, and it will be organised by the Bahrain Technical College “Bahrain Polytechnic” in cooperation with Microsoft.

Shaikh Khalid said that this came as part of his initiatives aimed at supporting education outputs in Bahrain and the region.

He noted that his initiatives to support youth comes as a translation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to implement the sustainable development goals, especially with regard to the educational aspect, as well as to embrace the creative and innovative youth in the scientific field.

The competition includes students from Bahrain, and GCC countries, to present their innovations in order to enrich the educational movement in the region.
