HRH Prince Salman reviews Airport Expansion Project progress

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met remotely with a number of officials and representatives of companies operating on the Kingdom’s Airport Expansion Project to review its progress.

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the efforts and commitment shown by the companies working on the project to complete it on schedule. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister praised the Kingdom’s skilled workforce who have had an important impact on the completion of the project and wished them success in operating the new Passenger Terminal Building from 28 January.

He extended his gratitude to all those involved in achieving this key strategic national project, which will further enhance the Kingdom’s aviation and logistics sectors. The officials and representatives from the companies working on the Airport Expansion Project briefed HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister on progress made within the project, including the final preparations required to begin operations of the new Passenger Terminal Building.

They extended their gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, noting that HRH’s ongoing commitment and support has helped steer this project towards success. Transportation and Communications Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed was also in attendance at the meeting.
