Proposal to build suspension bridge between Budaiya and Bani Jamra

The Northern Municipal Council has approved a proposal to construct a suspension bridge between Budaiya and Bani Jamra.
During the current regular meeting of the Council, the presenter of the proposal, municipal member Muhammad Saad Al Dossari, the representative of the Third District, said that the suspension bridge will benefit the people from both areas of Budaiya and Bani Jamra.
It will also make the health centre in the area more accessible to the people through the suspension bridge. Al Dossary pointed out that the project also aims to reduce traffic congestion and preserve pedestrian safety, especially with the reported increase in traffic accidents annually by 5%.
