Bahrain dispatches third consignment to Serbia

Bahrain’s third relief and medical consignment have been delivered to the Republic of Serbia, following directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, to combat the novel coronavirus  (COVID-19).

The initiative reflects His Majesty the King’s keenness to strengthen humanitarian relations and extend a helping hand to all peoples in the world.

HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa conveyed greetings from HM the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

On behalf of HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, he paid tribute to all front liners, hailing their relentless efforts to combat the pandemic.

“We are honoured to deliver the third shipment of relief and medical supplies to Belgrade to help our dear friends in meeting the important needs in this disaster”, he said, hailing efforts that stem from HM the King’s noble stances and Bahrain’s long-standing customs and traditions in addition to true Islamic teachings.

He expressed commitment to continuously support friendly countries to collectively combat the global pandemic, reiterating pride at extending a helping hand to the Serbian people.

He hailed strong bilateral relations bring the two friendly countries stressing the importance of bolstering international relations and cooperation between friends and allies.

Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad extended deepest thanks and gratitude to HM the King for his humanitarian drive to deliver aid to all people in the world, especially amid these exceptional circumstances resulting from the pandemic.
