New Covid-19 strain discovered in Bahrain, schools and indoor dining suspended

The new Covid-19 variant has been discovered among active cases in Bahrain, revealed Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr Waleed Al Manea.
The National Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus senior member urged people to adhere to precautionary measures in place to combat the pandemic spread.
He was speaking at a press conference at the Crown Prince Centre for Training and Medical Research at the BDF Hospital.
It has also been announced that all government and public schools will be suspended from January 31, as a precaution, as will indoor dining at restaurants.
