Bahrain Polytechnic and Practeria sign partnership deal

The Bahrain Polytechnic has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Practeria Ltd. to discuss cooperation opportunities.

Practeria Ltd. is an international company that includes experts in engineering, education technology and management consulting, based in the UK.

Under the MoU, the two parties intend to cooperate and coordinate in the implementation of sustainable and scalable digital solutions and link them to technical skills training.

Through this, they will develop and prepare engineering students to meet the current and future challenges in the industrial sectors, in addition to designing and implementing an integrated learning strategy for engineering majors, designing and implementing the strategic plan.

It will also enhance the skills of Bahraini engineering workforce based on the trends driven by the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its nine technological pillars.

For this, the two parties will work on exchanging specialised experts to design specialised training content and training courses commensurate with the unique Bahraini culture and environment.

This will lead to training local trainers to undertake the implementation of these courses, developing current engineering curricula by supplementing them with the topics of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and implementing cooperative projects and internal training programs for Polytechnic students.

Polytechnic Chief Executive Dr Jeff Zapodsky said: “The Polytechnic is pleased to cooperate with Practeria, which is an important step in providing new opportunities for training our students in areas required in the labour market.”
