Bahrain participates in Arab-US meet

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Washington participated in the 24th Arab-US Policymakers Conference, themed “US-Arab Relations at a Crossroads: What Paths Forward?”

International experts discussed the issues of concern to both the Arab States and USA with insightful studies and analysis.

Prince Turki Al Faisal Al Saud inaugurated the conference. In his address, he highlighted the major international community priorities, challenges and crises it faces.

 

Commenting on the situation in Bahrain, he noted the successful elections held last year despite the intimidation campaign. Prince Turki valued highly valued the speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa that united the people of Bahrain and confirmed the continuation of the reform process and development in the Kingdom.

 

Bahrain’s embassy welcomed all efforts exerted by the humanitarian organisations to overcome obstacles and fears to achieve the goal of establishing prosperous and stable societies.

The embassy is one of the sponsors of this event, along with Bahrain’s Economic Development Board and the Bahraini-American Council for Businessmen.
