The Health Ministry has advised the citizens and residents not to visit government health centres except when necessary to ensure the safety of everybody.

The advisory is within the framework of national efforts in containing the spread of the coronavirus in society.

The ministry urged people to book appointments online or through the health centre hotline instead of personally appearing.

It also advised visitors not to bring along children when visiting health centres.

The ministry said that regular check-ups for schools, women, and minor operations will be postponed and rescheduled, and only emergency dental services will be provided, and all other dental services will stop.

It also stated that it will provide a remote counselling service such as follow-up services for chronic diseases and postpartum services.

The Primary Health Care called on the public to adhere to infection control instructions inside and outside the health centre to maintain their safety and to adhere to all precautionary measures issued by the official authorities.
