Possessing explosives: Trial put off
The High Criminal Court has adjourned the trial of a defendant accused of possessing explosives until November 26 to hear prosecution witnesses.
The defendant was nabbed in connection with the seizure of explosives on December 6 three years ago. Investigations found that the defendant was making the improvised bombs with another man who is still at large.
They, according to court reports, were planning to attack police officers and distribute them to terrorist groups in order to disturb civil order. They reportedly stashed the explosives inside an apartment.
