HM King promotes 707 BDF officers

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, issued a Royal Order promoting 707 officers of the Bahraini Defence Force (BDF) from various military ranks.

The issuance of the royal order is on the occasion of the BDF’s 53rd anniversary, marked every February 5.

On the occasion, the BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa conveyed the congratulations of HM King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, to the promoted officers, as well as their wishes to them of further success in serving the nation, under the leadership of HM the King, the Supreme Commander.

On the same occasion, the BDF Commander-in-Chief issued an order promoting 4,577 military and civil servicemen from various ranks.

The Commander-in-Chief congratulated the promoted officers, servicemen and civilians, wishing that the promotions will motivate them to exert more efforts while performing their patriotic duties in defending the nation and achieving more progress for the BDF and the kingdom, under the leadership of HM the King.
