BDF Chief of Staff opens new military facility

Under the patronage of the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, a ceremony was held today marking the inauguration of a new military facility.

The commander-in-chief deputised the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, to open the new military facility, launched marking the BDF’s anniversary.

The Chief of Staff unveiled the memorial plaque to mark the official opening of the modern facility.

Some holy Quran verses were recited, and then the unit commander delivered a welcoming speech.

The chief of staff then toured the new facility and was informed about its various sections and equipment.

On the occasion, the chief of staff affirmed the unwavering interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, in all the BDF’s branches and units from the administrative and military sides, and keenness to provide them will all modern requirements and remove all obstacles facing efforts to develop military installations.

Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources, Major-General Shaikh Ali bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Director of Officers and Personnel Affairs, Major-General Mohammed Abdulla Al-Ahmed, Director of Military Works, Major-General Abdulaziz Fadhul Al-Buainain, Military Judiciary Chief and Military Court of Cassation President, Major-General Dr Yussef Rashid Flaifal, and a number of senior BDF officers attended.
