New centre for women studies

The Royal University for Women yesterday announced opening a specialised centre for women’s studies in Bahrain.
The centre will operate in association with the Supreme Council for Women, and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
The centre will contribute to enriching research in the fields and issues of women.
The virtual opening ceremony was in the presence of Dr Rola Dashti, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), Hala Al-Ansari, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women and Fahd Abdullah Al-Zamil, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal University for Women.
