Bahrain's pavilion at 'GITEX 2015' to showcase technology

Bahrain’s national pavilion will open today at “GITEX2015”, which kicks off at Dubai World Trade Centre and continues until October 22.

Bahrain’s pavilion includes 24 technology companies in Bahrain along with the Economic Development Board, eGovernment Authority and Tamkeen.

Bahrain is participating in the event next to 62 countries around the globe exhibiting a total of 3500 brands.

The participating Bahraini companies offer its technical services and products to more than 130 thousand expected visitors for the exhibition, including 20 thousand executives and decision-makers.

Organizers of the pavilion for the ninth consecutive year are Work Smart, the renowned event-management company and the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH).

The pavilion gives the opportunity for Bahraini companies to meet with each other and to engage in fruitful partnerships, while the participation of the Economic Development Board gives the opportunity to explore technical needs of the public sector in Bahrain and ways to fulfill them.

“GITEX” offers an annual opportunity for the Bahrain’s IT companies to showcase their products in regional and global markets, and the chance to develop these products in line with developments in telecommunications and information industry in the region and the world.

It also gives the opportunity to find agents for these products around the world and the chance to represent international companies, which are looking for a foothold in the Bahraini market.
