CSR Awards to honour green initiatives
In order to honour the most outstanding communications efforts powering corporate social responsibility and green initiatives, the Bahrain Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Society has invited entries for Bahrain International CSR Award 2015.
Addressing media yesterday, Bahrain CSR Chairman Khalid Al Qoud said that the award would highlight the importance of sustainability achieved by the companies in the Kingdom.
He said that a report would be submitted at the end of the project about the companies, which have contributed to sustainable development.
“Bahrain CSR Awards will be the industry’s best showcase for the most powerful, impactful social responsibility and green campaigns. The finalists in this awards programme set new standards of excellence and point the way for other organisations to follow,” Al Qoud said.
The award is open to all individuals and business concerns as well as non-profit organisations including corporations, PR firms, marketing firms, public affairs agencies, publicity firms, associations, government organisations, NGOs and practitioners. To be eligible, the campaign or PR initiative must have taken place- either in part or full- between October 20, 2014 and October 15, 2015.
“The entries will be judged by a recognised independent panel of corporate, CSR experts, agencies and academic executives. We evaluate the entry based on creativity, innovation, sound planning, implementation and outcomes,” the Bahrain CSR Chairman said.
