Two in the dock for selling banned tobacco products in Bahrain

Muharraq police arrested two men aged 49 and 52 years on charges of possessing and selling banned tobacco products valuing around 6,000 dinars in the Kingdom.
The Director-General of Muharraq Governorate Police Department said the suspects are both Asians by nationality. Police acting on a tip-off made the arrest.
The information claimed that two men were storing and selling banned tobacco products in their cars. Police officers kicked-off an investigation based on the information.
The ensuing investigation resulted in the identification of the suspects.
Officers brought in the suspects with large quantities of the banned products in their possession, as well as proceeds from their sale. Authorities took Legal measures.
The case is now with the Public Prosecution.
