The Pioneers to organize ‘Vanitholsavam’

Socio-cultural association, the Pioneers in Bahrain, is all set to organize ‘Vanitholsavam’, a one and a half month long competition for Keralaite Women to showcase their art, cultural talents and literal efficiency.

The event aims at the Keralaite women population residing in Bahrain, which accounts to nearly 50000. Any Keralite women above 25 years of age can participate in this competition. According to age, there will be two categories including junior (25 to 35) and senior (35 and above).

Diamond Necklace, trophies with certificate will be presented to the participants from both the categories who score the highest They will be honored with the Sthree Ratnam Award. Awards will be given to the first and second runner-ups also.

 A sub-committee has organized for smooth functioning of this event. The Programme Committee is led by Satheesh G as coordinator and Sheeja Jayan as  general convener.

The final day to receive applications is November 5. A curtain raiser programme for the event will be held on November 2.

The preliminary round for the competitions will be conducted at various venue in various days. The registered participants will be kept informed. The Finals of the competition will be on first week of January 2016.
