Bahrain Ministry to rebuild walls of 13 public schools

The boundary walls of 13 public schools in the Kingdom will be rebuild as part of a move to enhance security measures. The structural condition of the dilapidated walls in various schools had worsened and had reached 1,562 meters.
A tender launched for the project with an initial bond of BD1000 has a closing date of 28 February 2021, the Works Ministry said.

The Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning and the Ministry of Education is jointly implementing the project.
The project will benefit Sukainah Bint Al Hussein Primary School for Girls, Al Rasheed Primary School for Boys, Halima Al Saadia Preparatory School for Girls, West Riffa Primary School for Boys, Khaleej Al Arabi Primary School for Girls, East Riffa Secondary School for Boys, Muharraq Secondary School for Boys, Khadija Al Kubra Preparatory School for Girls and Zainab School Preparatory School for Girls, Tubli Primary School for Boys, Othman bin Affan Preparatory School for Boys, Sitra Preparatory School for Girls and Askar Primary School for Boys.
The Works Ministry has also launched tenders for the general repair works of Al Nabih Saleh Primary Girls School, Al Jazeera Primary Boys School, Asker Primary and Intermediate Boys School, and Ahmed Al Fateh Primary and Intermediate Boys School.
Works are for internal and external painting, cracks repair, repair of ceilings and floorings, repair and replacement of doors and windows and renovation of toilets, amongst other works.
